Dr. Dora Mills (Janet's Sister) lobbied for Dr. Nass' Medical License Suspension, Maine Wire reports
The State of Maine is using California's Orwellian Playbook
A few weeks ago, California’s Governor Gavin Newsom signed an Orwellian bill into that would make it illegal for medical professionals to “spread misinformation” as defined by the state.
The Board of Licensure in Medicine (BOLIM), the state of Maine’s medical license regulator, seems to be following Governor Newsom’s lead.
Today, The Maine Wire reported on Dr. Meryl Nass’ fight to restore her medical license. Dr. Nass has been in a leading voice nationally for medical freedom and treated many Mainers in 2020 and 2021 for COVID-19.

Her practice is in Ellsworth, but she offered a $60 telledoc service during the pandemic. Her license was suspended on January 12 for spreading misinformation that the The Board of Licensure in Medicine (BOLIM) found “that Dr. Nass engaged in the practice of fraud, deceit or misrepresentation..”
Below is an excerpt from the article, detailing how Dr. Dora Ann Mills, Chief Improviment Officer at Maine Health, lobbied for Dr. Nass’ Medical License to be suspended.

Dr. Nass testified during a hearing with The Board of Licensure in Medicine (BOLIM), where she was grilled for over 4 hours with various questions. “None of the original claim about misinformation came up during the hearing, and the overwhelming thrust of the governments arguments orbited her communications with ailing Mainers…”, reported Steve Robinson of The Maine Wire.
These questions demonstrated the complete incompetence of the BOLIM. This is a sham and a kangaroo court. It is also an indication of the kind of “leadership” (read:: control) that Governor Mills is offering the people of Maine.

KMF will continue to follow this story. It may be the most important story in the State right now. If Dr. Nass’ medical license is not restored, this case will set a very dangerous precedent. Make no mistake, the freedom of every doctor and medical professional in the state to treat patients as they see fit is on the line.
